How long will the audition take?
Auditions will take approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour and will involve a 10 minute vocal component which will include your song selection and a test of your vocal range. This will be followed by a 30 minute choreographed dance component.
Can I audition if I don't have a lot of theatre experience?
Absolutely! We welcome performers with a range of experience levels. Come prepared, have fun, and show us what you can do.
What should I wear?
Wear something you feel confident in and can comfortably move in. You may want to bring/change into appropriate shoes for the dance portion.
What should I bring to the audition?
Bring your sheet music or prepared song track, a water bottle, and shoes you can comfortably dance in (heels are preferred). If using a track, please have it downloaded and cued to the beginning of your selection before your audition. Most importantly, bring your energy and personality — we want to see you perform!
Can I audition for more than one role?
Yes! Indicate the role(s) you're interested in on your audition form, and the creative team may also consider you for other roles.
What if I'm only interested in an ensemble role?
We'd still love to see you! Ensemble is a huge part of Priscilla, and auditionees interested specifically in ensemble are encouraged to sign up.
Will there be callbacks?
Yes. Callbacks will take place Sunday, October 18 at approximately 6:00pm. Not everyone cast will necessarily be called back, so not receiving a callback doesn't automatically mean you aren't being considered.
When & where are auditions?
Auditions are October 14, 17, & 18. Advance registration is required. You will be given a date and time to audition once you sign up. All auditions will take place at the Greely Community Centre located at 1448 Meadow Drive in Greely.
Do I need to be available for every performance?
Yes. Performances are April 15–18, 2027, and cast members are expected to be available for all required performances and all technical rehearsals.
What if I have a rehearsal conflict?
List all known conflicts (or potential conflicts) on your audition form. Conflicts don't necessarily prevent you from being cast, but the production team needs to know about them before casting.
